You Wanna Fight? You Got A Fight.

Droppin Bombs Yo

Our good friend Jason Powell has a report at ProWrestling.Net that says Ken Shamrock is going to be facing Kimbo Slice on the next CBS EliteXC broadcast. Now I know next to nothing about MMA but I do know that Kimbo Slice looks like a total badass. He popped a guy’s ear on the last broadcast and if that isn’t enough he is comfortable enough with himself to rock a skullet braided around his head. If that isn’t a ballsy move then I guess putting out your own YouTube streetfight video would be.

Shamrock hasn’t fought in a meaningful match in forever and based off of my admitted extensive knowledge I see Ken losing. Why? I don’t know and I don’t care. Bring on the fight already.

All joking aside, Ken will probably win and totally screw over EliteXC and CBS’s big marketing plans and future ratings hopes. -Jeremy

Say It Isn’t So John

Who's got one thumb and a bad neck? This guy.

Pro Wrestling Insider has two separate updates today about John Cena and the fact he may be dealing with a serious neck injury. There are two different links here and here. If true this is a terrible blow to WWE as John Cena still creates a huge amount of cash for the company and his absence may hurt that revenue stream.

No, not everyone likes him with his cartoonish at best facial expressions but the fact is, he is still WWE’s top guy. If Cena has to miss any extended time no one should look at him coming back early like he did from his pectoral tear.

WWE has done the smart thing though and taken him out of big matches by having him take no bumps and allowing others to do the work. It will help him make his scheduled appearances until he can get everything properly diagnosed and addressed. Here is hoping it is nothing serious or that if it is smarter heads prevails and he is removed immediately from the road. The loss of John Cena for a few months is better than losing John Cena for 18-20 months or worse yet permanently. We here at StuntGranny may not be huge John Cena fans but the idea of yet another wrestler going down with a neck injury is never good news. Hopefully everyone, wrestlers and management included have learned from the past on this. -Jeremy

Are We Coming Off Like Total Pervs?

Boobs and Wrestling? Indeed.

Boobs and Wrestling? Indeed.

Ok, I swear to everyone reading this I did not actively seek this out but this is damned weird enough that we have to comment on this. Apparently there is a totally naked women’s wrestling league. I found this site after looking over at Slam Sports and there was a news blurb about Ron Hutchinson. It said something about how he had been working for the Naked Women’s Wrestling League as a trainer. So, being a hetero-male the name alone piqued my interest. After a quick Google search I found the greatest wrestling company ever, or at least one with an incredible niche.

These women actually wrestle bare-ass naked. They wear nothing. Nothing damnit. I am pretty sure I will never look at a kip-up or chain wrestling the same way again. The only bad part of the site is that you have to be a member and until we start getting the big money, $3.99 a month is not happening. Sorry if this is old news but damn, what a genius idea. Be warned the site is NSFW.  Dur! -Jeremy
