Stunt Granny Audio #90 part 2

Guess what we center the show around?

Yup it’s part two of Stunt Granny Audio #90. Jeremy and Kevin finish rounding out WrestleMania and Raw. They chat about the Legacy triple threat match and if it elevated anyone., They also cover the Bret Hart/Vince McMahon debacle and just why it was so bad. Oh and Jeremy gloats for calling a spade a spade. They finally round out the show with the expected talk about Shawn Michaels and his career. So check it out wont ya?

Stunt Granny Audio #91 part 1

Ok, so this was supposed to be a one part show but Kevin and Jeremy blabbered on and on about WrestleMania 26 so it had to get divided in two. They do manage to cover a majority of the matches  and of course discussed what they did and did not like and who had a good showing. They also discuss the possibility of Triple H growing up and doing what is best for business instead of himself. There is a good discussion of the Rey Mysterio/ CM Punk match and a poor discussion of Jericho and Edge’s match. They get through a lot so listen up!

Nasty Boys Are Released

The only good thing from The Nasty Boys

So apparently TNA does know how to do something right after all. According to Prowrestling.net The Nasty Boys have been released by TNA. This is one of those double edged items. It is good they dumped these fat pieces of nothing. At the same time it is embarrassing they ever got to be a part of the modern wrestling scene.  How this effects the 3D/ Nasty Boys feud is clearly going to be the talk of wrestling for the next fifteen seconds and really; that’s only because it takes a while to say Team 3D versus The Nasty Boys. Go eat some donuts and deep fry those checks boys and good riddance.

WrestleMania 26 Preview #10- The Round Up!

Yup that’s right! WrestleMania 26 is upon us and Kevin and Jeremy toss out the last of their opinions. They decide to go back over the entire week leading up to WrestleMania and change their minds on the possible Money in the Bank winner and the reason why. They also go over the possibility of Shawn Michaels actually retiring after all of his interviews seemingly saying he is retiring. Then they go on about their past WrestleMania adventures and how next year will be different. Hell, it has to be different because 2009 sucked a fat one. So listen in gang and enjoy.

WrestleMania 26 Preview #9- Chris Jericho vs. Edge

I have been told its not ok to pick on the kids. But look at em!

Oh good lord the end is near. Jeremy and Kevin hash out the rest of their ill-informed opinions for WrestleMania 26 and apply it to Chris Jericho taking on Edge for the World Title. This match has been in the works since Edge’s injury but does that warrant a main event spot? Does Edge continue losing at WrestleMania or does Jericho job once again? It’s a virtual smorgasbord of information and all you have to do is download it and apply to your ears.

The Architecture of Wrestling – University of Phoenix Stadium

Would this inspire you?

The University of Phoenix Stadium is the site of Wrestlemania 26. It was designed by Peter Eisenman with the help of HOK Sport (now called Populous), Hunt Construction Group and Urban Earth Design. Eisenman has designed two large buildings in Columbus, the Wexner Center for the Visual Arts & Fine Arts Library on thee Ohio State University’s campus and the Convention Center in downtown so I am familiar with his work first hand. (You can find pictures of these buildings by clicking on Past Projects on the opening page of his site. I will provide pictures if I somehow find time during this crazy week.) I’m not the biggest fan of his work since he has a tendency to create a myriad of (sometimes asinine) reasons to justify his design instead of conforming to the urban fabric and creating a twist on it. His rational for this job was to make the building look like a barrel cactus. The designs are interesting in their end result even if I find his methods strange.

Stunt Granny Audio #89: WrestleMania memories

reunited

Reunited and it feels so good!

Holy crap, the Wonder Twins are back together again! Dusty and Eric join forces for the first time in eleventy billion years to discuss not the events of wrestling today (because, really, how many times can some combination of us say Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiase are bitches?) but instead their favorite memories from WrestleMania. Each posts their top five (well, Dusty would have, but Eric forgot how to count and cut him off at four), from watching and listening on scramblevision all the way up to last year, where one match stood out at a time when nothing whatsoever was standing out. See if your fondest memories match those of the boys! (58 minutes)
