Jerry Threatening Tom

Jeremy & Kevin are back for a second straight day with their witticisms. They start by talking about their childhood and playing “Smear The Queer”. Does making the name rhyme make it better? Which bully thought up this game so that he could pick on the people they wanted to? What happened to Kevin’s younger brother while playing said game? The guys move along to an injury in the WWE, that of Naomi. How soon will Aksana get back on TV? Did the WWE take down Naomi’s picture of her injured eye? Wouldn’t that picture work as a perfect example of “Don’t do this at home” for the children that watch? Would Naomi be better off going with her real name of Trinity? Will we find out why the Bellas have been off TV in the next season of Total Divas? Jeremy & Kevin move onto Brodus Clay because of his connection to Naomi. Did Jeremy notice that he wasn’t in the Royal Rumble? Has he gotten the number of chances that Alberto Del Rio has had to shine? Speaking of Del Rio, who is going to miss him if he doesn’t renew his contract? Did he get a push because he is an older man? Does age factor into backstage politics? Who else on the roster has an age that surprised Jeremy & Kevin? Will there ever be a WWE Superstar who makes an impact at a young age like Bryce Harper has done in Major League Baseball? Does Brock Lesnar count? Maybe Randy Orton? Who will benefit most from Del Rio leaving if he does leave after this contract expires? Find out the answers to these questions and more when you click on the link below.

A-diamond-in-the-roughOh holy crap, Dusty and Kevin are back once again to lay down some serious opinionz for your listening pleasure. They start out by trying to recreate the magic of their off-air conversation about ROH and pro wrestling in general. Are Adam Cole and Jay Briscoe the only diamonds in the ROH rough? How would their skills translate in the major leagues? Was WWE justified in getting rid of Chris Hero? Does Dusty believe that having good talent on your roster is a good thing?

Then they turn their attention to the big “real sports” story of the day: Dan Lebatard giving his Baseball Hall of Fame to Deadspin.com. Kevin stays out of the way as Dusty rails against the holier than thou baseball writers that have been torching his hero the last couple days. Is the voting process flawed? How can real change be effected? How do we know who did and didn’t use steroids when Alex bleeping Sanchez tested positive for it? Dusty has a proposal for the Carolina Panthers to counter the 49ers’ use of Ric Flair before their victory over the Green Bay Packers last week. They also talk briefly about the NFL coaching carousel and it will only take about an hour of your life, so listen to it or else you might lose your vote!

Get used to this.

Get used to this.

Oh my god, it’s that time again! Time for another Stunt Granny Audio, and this time hosted by none other than Kevin and Dusty. Dusty starts things off by talking about a vivid dream he just had that included Kevin and Jeremy. Why were they all in high school? Why were they all on a softball team? Why does Dusty want to kill Kevin’s imaginary girlfriend? They then move on to sports conversation, as Kevin has a lot to be happy about, what with his Pirates enjoying their first winning season in two decades and beating the Reds in the playoffs already. Dusty sidetracks quickly (mainly to mention that Bill Simmons is a moron), and Kevin laments the fact that historically all the Pittsburgh sports team cannot be good at the same time, thus the Steelers going 0-4 so far on the season. Dusty also hates Dusty Baker of the Reds, maybe more than Simmons.

Finally, they move on to wrestling talk. Dusty makes very little sense in enumerating the reasons why he prefers TNA to WWE right now. Kevin helps him in coming up with all the positive attributes of TNA right now, to help lessen the blow of the ridiculous current Dixie Carter storyline. They then move on WWE talk, where Dusty explains that he is tired of any and all involvement of any and all of the McMahon family, and that is what is holding him back from watching more WWE television right now. Kevin expresses concerns about Ryback, Daniel Bryan and his boy Dolph Ziggler. All that and a whole lot more, and you don’t even have to start a meth lab to afford to pay to listen to it!

The type of young athlete TNA needs to be pushing.

The type of young athlete TNA needs to be pushing.

There’s a whole heap of things to talk about this week, and Kevin and Dusty are the only people adequately prepared to do so! And boy do they ever, starting off with some Monday Night Raw discussion. Dusty is sick of having McMahon family reunions on his television screen. Kevin is confused by the whole thing and wonders if they really think they’re knocking it out of the park with these segments. Dusty is also sick of Michael Cole on commentary, and Jerry Lawler as well, but has no idea how to fix that problem. Is there anyone from another wrestling company worth bringing in? Should WWE look outside the wrestling business?

Then they turn their attention to the mess that is TNA. How long can a company be going out of business before actually going out of business? Do they realize how bad they look by getting rid of so many people and then teasing a surprise appearance for the next show? Did a throwaway reality show really beat their show in the ratings? Did Dixie Carter really call Taeler Hendrix fat? Does she prefer that Angelina Love 35 pounds look? Does she realize Mickie James isn’t exactly a size zero right now herself? Also, the Main Event Mafia is a stale idea that means nothing to anyone, it’s really hard to feel bad for Samoa Joe, James Storm should be in WWE, and a whole lot more! We don’t think you’re too heavy to listen to it, so go for it!

John Cena needs to shut the fuck up

Dr-Rockso-metalocalypse-737334_807_704

In light of Major League Baseball player Ryan Braun’s recent steroid suspension, John Cena has taken his plight against reason and common sense to Twitter. First with this:

Also hats off to @MLB for putting their foot down against PEDs @SportsCenter @ESPN looks like more headlines on horizon.

And then with this:

Wow PEDs are quite the topic, lots of Qs 1 tweet will clear it up,yes @MLB some action>none, I am LIFETIME drug free

And then this:

Remember ladies and gents ‘there is NO substitute for hard work!’ It’s a nice CLEAN snatch!!! pic.twitter.com/6GdSPzqJn0

Which was accompanied by this picture:

So yeah. Basically Cena needs to shut his fat yapper before he attracts any attention to the fact that drug free probably does *not* start with he. There certainly exist some pictures online from the ghost of Prototype’s past that would seem to suggest “lifetime” does not now mean what I once thought it did. Any Raw now we’re going to see his veiny drug free arms popping out of a DARE shirt, shades of Boy George. – Dusty

Well gang, it looks like Dusty’s audio ban has been lifted, as the Wisconsin Dream joins Kevin Difrango for this action packed edition of Stunt Granny Audio! The duo start things off by talking baseball. Dusty’s A’s are playing Kevin’s Pirates, so there is worlds of intrigue at play here. Why is Bud Selig waiting for the All Star Game to levy fines? Why not wait until Feezil Day? The conversation then turns to the upcoming Money in the Bank PPV spectacular. Who will win the A-team MITB match? Who will be the Shelton Benjamin high spot artist who has no shot of actually winning? Will Kane actually be in the match? (WWE.com says yes, Wikipedia says no. Who can you trust in this day and age?) Then it’s time to talk about the B-teamers match. Kevin realizes there are many guys in the company who are just spinning their wheels. Any one of them could get a win at the PPV to get out of their funk. Dusty breaks some nooz, revealing to Kevin that in addition to the GutCheck guys, Matt Morgan has just been released from TNA. They discuss the possibility of him coming in to WWE. They also talk about the exciting debut of the Wyatt Family and the possibilities of their future use, and Dusty drops a Pat Buchanan reference. And a whole lot more, so listen or you will perish.
