Stunt Granny Audio: OHPA 2

Ken & Kevin are back for another week of cherry picked topics. They kick off the show by talking about twenty dollar bills and Andrew Jackson. How did Jackson get on the twenty dollar bill? What was his job before becoming president? Did that lead to some of his decisions while in the White House? What exactly were his decisions in the White House that makes some people want to pull Jackson off of the twenty? The article suggests putting Harriet Tubman on the twenty which leads to the question, how many non-Presidents are on dollar bills? Are other famous historical figures more popular on coins? Ken & Kevin move from famous heads on bills to headers in soccer. How dangerous are they? Did research into them start with the National Football League’s recent round of concussion related problems? The main point of the article was to stop children to heading the ball. What’s an appropriate age to allow people to head the ball? Will that save players from suffering from CTE, chronic traumatic encephalopathy? Would it be possible to ban headers from the professional game if the links the study talks about become too strong? The third random topic of the week was about the bit coiner inventor finally being found after years of being anonymous. How much is he worth? How much of it is he spending? How easily did the reporter find the inventor when he was so well known amongst a bunch of snoops online? Kevin starts to wrapping up the show by asking Ken three questions from WWE Trivia Mania. Kevin then wraps it up by picking his Sippy Time Beer of the Week. Click on the link below to figure out how to ruin your liver like him!

A-diamond-in-the-roughOh holy crap, Dusty and Kevin are back once again to lay down some serious opinionz for your listening pleasure. They start out by trying to recreate the magic of their off-air conversation about ROH and pro wrestling in general. Are Adam Cole and Jay Briscoe the only diamonds in the ROH rough? How would their skills translate in the major leagues? Was WWE justified in getting rid of Chris Hero? Does Dusty believe that having good talent on your roster is a good thing?

Then they turn their attention to the big “real sports” story of the day: Dan Lebatard giving his Baseball Hall of Fame to Deadspin.com. Kevin stays out of the way as Dusty rails against the holier than thou baseball writers that have been torching his hero the last couple days. Is the voting process flawed? How can real change be effected? How do we know who did and didn’t use steroids when Alex bleeping Sanchez tested positive for it? Dusty has a proposal for the Carolina Panthers to counter the 49ers’ use of Ric Flair before their victory over the Green Bay Packers last week. They also talk briefly about the NFL coaching carousel and it will only take about an hour of your life, so listen to it or else you might lose your vote!

Well holy shiznit, it’s time for another edition of Stunt Granny Audio. Kevin and Dusty are back at the helm this week, and the primary order of business is Coaches Gone Wild. Kevin’s beloved Pittsburgh Steelers are all over the news this week for all the wrong reasons. Did Mike Tomlin step onto the field on purpose? Was he just dazzled by the majesty of the big screen monitor, or was he practicing the moonwalk? Why on earth is this story obscuring the fact that a football actually got tackled by his junk this past weekend?

They move on to talk about Bo Pelini needing anger management classes. Dusty feels like everything he said and did was justified, but Dusty also has anger management issues, so we cant take him seriously. Why does Kevin feel the pressure on football factory coaches is too much? And finally they talk about Jason Kidd bringing the circus to Brooklyn. Why did he tell a player of his to bump him? Why was he holding a plastic cup in the first place? And then finally they go into wrestling just enough to honk Dusty off, but if you wanted a wrestling audio then it’s too bad so sad for you but you should listen anyway because otherwise the clowns will eat you.

To help fill in for a temporarily phoneless Dusty, Jeremy & Kevin talk a little bit about TNA. What do they think the biggest problem with the promotion is? Do they admit that TNA is getting better? Who do they call a fresh face despite their tenured career? Does Jeremy actually talk Kevin into a previously hated angle? The guys move on to Shawn Merriman and his rant against CM Punk. Does anyone understand what he was trying to say? Do more people understand than the number of tackles he’s had the last two years in the National Football League? Jeremy & Kevin realize that the site had a major gaffe, we forgot to post about the death of Doug Furnas. Why does everyone remember him? Is it because of anything he did in the ring? Or does it have to deal with his epic features? Jeremy & Kevin wind down the show by talking about portions of Raw. Why are they holding back some of their opinions? They do talk about Santino Marella and his opponent Jack Swagger. Who did they compare Swagger to because of his new hairdo? Jeremy & Kevin also talk about all of the Rock and John Cena talking. Did they like one guy more than the other? Are they going to buy a garden gnome of the Rock? They also talk about Jeremy’s prediction of Kane fighting Zack Ryder at Wrestlemania. And say, how did Zack fare in his return? How he had worse luck with women than Kevin? Find out below when you click the link.
