#SippyTimeBeer Review – @LagerheadsBeer, @ROCKMILLbrewery, @SeventhSonBrew & @4StringBrewing

IMG_20140301_195431

Since I have been doing two of these articles a week, I decided to tweak the set up. I’ll go local beers, aka those from Ohio with possible expansion in PA later, on Tuesdays and I’ll do the national beers on Friday. If I have a trip like New Orleans or Colorado Springs, they’ll change to complexion of this separation but we’ll cross that bridge when necessary. Let’s start drinking local.

Lagerheads Brewing Co.Kilt ‘Em All – Other than starting off my birthday with Left Hand’s Milk Stout, I went local for the remainder of my beers. This one from Medina OH was the one from furthest away. This beer is a Scottish Ale and as usual, it delivered on the malt content. There was an unidentified spice in it though that gave it a funk that I wasn’t a fan of. I usually get help from their website to help figure out what the little tastes are to make it taste differently but Lagerheads doesn’t provide much information. It may be the toffee that is included but I usually enjoy that spice. They do let you know that it has a 5.9% ABV and a 27 IBU.

IMG_20140301_210528Rockmill BrewerySaison Noir – This company is located south east of Columbus in Lancaster, OH. Saison is a very loose term meaning seasonal in French. Noir means black so you’ve got a decent idea of what this beer looks like even if I didn’t provide a picture of it. I’m not sure what the season on this beer is but I did have it a month ago during a dinner out. This beer has nothing in common with Ommegang’s Hennepin despite the fact that both are considered a farmhouse saison. This beer is similar to a Black IPA but without as much hops in my opinion. Rockmill doesn’t give an IBU so there’s no way to check. They use raspberry, candied fruit, potato creme brulee, caramel and tobacco in this beverage. I couldn’t pick out any of those flavors on their own but the creme brulee does add a creaminess to viscosity of the beer. The complexity of the flavors did come through with a fantastic taste. This beer does have a kick at 8.0% ABV. It was the first beer I tried from Rockmill and it was a great first impression.

IMG_20140303_202238Seventh Son Brewing Co.Humulus Nimbus – I’m not sure this company needs an introduction since I’ve reviewed their beers here, here, here, here and here. I’ll hope not to do all of that linking in later columns. This beer is considered a super pale ale but they don’t admit to dry hopping like Rhinegeist‘s Fiction Belgian Extra Pale Ale. Seventh Son does use mosaic and simcoe hops to come to their flavor. I don’t get the hints of blueberry from it but I do get the pine hints with the bitterness of the hops. There is not much to offset those flavors which is right for a pale ale. Though it’s the main flavor, it doesn’t have the extra bite that comes with an IPA so it works well. At 6.0% ABV, this beer is a good one for sipping. It was a good beer to get lubed up before doing the Almost Live, Definitely Half Assed Review of WWE Raw on my birthday.

IMG_20140308_164256Four String Brewing Co.Russian Imperial Stout – I’m not sure they need an introduction either but the links are here, here, here and here. The first (Halloween theme Skeleton Red IPA) and last link (Cherry Blonde) are similar to this beverage in that it’s a spin on one of their regular beers. They call it their Solo Series. I recently tried their Saison from this series. Their stout isn’t part of their four beer core but it does pop up from time to time. This beer was their Russian Imperial Stout with coffee. They were not lying about the coffee part either. This beer was so heavy with coffee, I’m surprised I haven’t started drinking coffee in the morning. They don’t have an IBU for this beer but the coffee supplies plenty of bitterness instead of the usual hops. The imperial stouts seem creamier on a whole and this one was on that level. It was a little too smooth at 11.0% ABV. You can get hammered in a hurry with this tasty beverage.

If you haven’t gotten enough of Ohio beers, check out this article on Drink Up Columbus about North High Brewing’s new brewmaster, Jason McKibben who worked for Anchor Brewing Company. Now go out and enjoy one of your own local #SippyTimeBeer no matter where you live. – Kevin

Stunt Granny Audio: OHPA 8

Ken & Kevin are back with OHPA 8. They start proceedings by telling people about the video footage that goes along with the show. Please click any relevant links in this very write up if they aren’t above it. Since the guys have good and bad news about Dragonball Z, Ken decides to start with the good news. There is a new trailer for a cartoon movie called Battle of Gods. What was Goku’s defining characteristic? When did he lose it? Is he the correct character to be taking on a new all powerful character? Kevin is all too happy to move along to the bad news portion by addressing Cinema Sins take down of Dragonball Evolution. Why did he suffer through this movie when Ken didn’t? Just how much effort is put into destroying every little plot hole in this movie? Do you need to watch more of this movie than the 22 minutes Cinema Sins uses to light it up? Who makes a guest appearance during this portion of the show to throw Ken & Kevin off? On a comic book related note, feel free to watch the Top 5 Comic Book Super Heroines. They move on to another subject near and dear to their hearts, those wacky Japanese people. What is the latest trend in dining there? How is it different than eating at Kahoots? Would Kevin eat at one of these locations if he went to Japan? Would he be able to eat with robots dancing everywhere? They move on to a subject Kevin wasn’t ready for, Centralia PA. Why does this town only have 12 inhabitants now? And what awful Chevy Chase & Dan Akroyd movie was based on this town? They finally get to a subject they meant to address on the previous show, Tim’s Vermeer. While neither of them has seen the movie, they have read plenty about how the artist Johannes Vermeer produced his paintings. Was it a dick move for him to keep his techniques secret? Why did he not write any instructions on how to do it? Could Ken now reproduce on of his paintings? Not after he had the #SippyTimeBeer of the week. Find out what it is along with the answers to these questions and more when you click on the link below!

Ken and Kevin are back and Kevin actually remembers to say the name of the show. If you didn’t get the reference to the show name before now, it’s plainly explained. We then go back to our roots in Altoona PA to talk about their ridiculous accent because of an article on Slate.com. How many accents are in Pennsylvania? Have they heard ones other than their Pittsburgh accent and the other big one from Philly? Where is the dividing line for these two major accents? How good of an example of it is the clip above from the Kroll Show? Kevin was in for a rude awakening when he went to Kent State. What factoid did he learn about the Cleveland accent while he was there? Ken spent his college years at Penn State. How much did he hear the Philly accent? Have they both lost their accents since moving to Columbus? They didn’t prepare a second segment so Ken quickly finds an article on the World Recording Setting Beer Mile run by James Nielsen. How ridiculous is this concept? How does it compare to an Hour of Power, which Ken and Kevin have both done? How did Kevin feel after drinking a beer and then playing indoor soccer? What beer did Ken supply that ends up becoming the #SippyTimeBeer of the week? Find out when you click the link below!

Demolition Man and Wolverine from Marvel - The Ultimate Character Guide

Demolition Man and Wolverine from Marvel – The Ultimate Character Guide

After an unintended month lay off, Ken & Kevin are back to talk about some diverse topics. They start with an article written in The New Republic about the formation of an American Football team in Chongqing, China. How much did these Chinese citizens know about football? How old are the people learning to play? How did they get their nicknames? How does China organize their school system? How recent was that type of freedom allowed? How much does this story sound like a typical underdog sports movie? Who could play the villainous coach? Which one of your hosts guarantees this will be made into a movie? Ken & Kevin move on to talking about possible Atari dump site. How bad was the game E.T. The Extraterrestrial? Did either of your hosts play the game as children? Is this game what sunk Atari? Which games from Atari might still be playable? Where can the gentlemen play some of these old Atari games in Columbus? How many games are supposed to be buried? Who paid to dig it up? Their last subject is Marvel’s Original Sin. Why does this topic relate to the present that Jeremy got Kevin for his birthday? What do all of these numbers mean in the Marvel- The Ultimate Character Guide? How obscure are some of the characters in this book? Do they have dumb factoids for Ken to enjoy? Is the Watcher listed as one of the characters? Why did Kevin reference a Robot Chicken skit while talking about this topic? Find out that and the #SippyTimeBeer of the week when you click on the link below!

Stunt Granny Audio: OHPA 2

Ken & Kevin are back for another week of cherry picked topics. They kick off the show by talking about twenty dollar bills and Andrew Jackson. How did Jackson get on the twenty dollar bill? What was his job before becoming president? Did that lead to some of his decisions while in the White House? What exactly were his decisions in the White House that makes some people want to pull Jackson off of the twenty? The article suggests putting Harriet Tubman on the twenty which leads to the question, how many non-Presidents are on dollar bills? Are other famous historical figures more popular on coins? Ken & Kevin move from famous heads on bills to headers in soccer. How dangerous are they? Did research into them start with the National Football League’s recent round of concussion related problems? The main point of the article was to stop children to heading the ball. What’s an appropriate age to allow people to head the ball? Will that save players from suffering from CTE, chronic traumatic encephalopathy? Would it be possible to ban headers from the professional game if the links the study talks about become too strong? The third random topic of the week was about the bit coiner inventor finally being found after years of being anonymous. How much is he worth? How much of it is he spending? How easily did the reporter find the inventor when he was so well known amongst a bunch of snoops online? Kevin starts to wrapping up the show by asking Ken three questions from WWE Trivia Mania. Kevin then wraps it up by picking his Sippy Time Beer of the Week. Click on the link below to figure out how to ruin your liver like him!

Kevin’s Blog: Almost Live, Definitely Half Assed Review of @WWE #Raw

frozen-beerSo I didn’t end up getting a new refrigerator until Saturday. I tried to get the old fridge repaired but when that failed, I had to go for the new one. After checking out the appropriate outlet stores, I made a purchase. The delivery came two hours late. Oh The humanity! Ha ha ha. The fridge has been restocked. I’m just glad my beers have finally unfrozen. Luckily none of them got to the state of the beer above. Time to watch some wrestling. Let’s roll.

Betty White and Big Show lead off the show. She’s going to kick ass tonight. (Next Day Note: No one is shocked she didn’t.) HHH then big foots her. How dare he! Doesn’t he know who she is? (Please note the heavy dose of sarcasm.) Before Steph can say anything, Randy Orton comes down. She gets to bring the condescension. Orton apologizes to them. It’s coming from his heart. Ha. Orton wants more TV time on other shows. Daniel Bryan comes out. Steph lays down the law. Bryan wants a match with Kane. He insults Steph & HHH. Randy Orton gives their rebuttal. HHH gives Bryan a rest. He’s getting a well deserved day off. Ha. I agree with JBL. It’s good to give your stars a rest.

Rey Mysterio is teaming with Cody Rhodes & Goldust against the Wyatt Family. Good win for Bray Wyatt on Smackdown. That’s the kind of credibility that would have helped me believe his win against Daniel Bryan. Erick Rowan starts against Rhodes. Goldust gets a quick tag. Luke Harper takes over. I love that Rey Mysterio sliding spot. It’s ridiculous. Goldust is still being beat down after the break. Bray Wyatt comes to continue the offense. Goldust power slams Harper to get Rey into the match. 619 to Harper. Wyatt pulls Rey from a spring board attempt. Rey goes for a 2nd 619 when Bray Wyatt makes a blind tag, I guess? Wyatt turns the run into a Sister Abigail. Kind of cool. Follow the buzzards.

The Shield gets the recap video. Renee Young gets to interview them. She starts with questioning Roman Reigns. Seth Rollins gets a short talk. Dean Ambrose gets questioned about defending the US title. After Reigns questions his manhood, Ambrose makes an open challenge. Vickie Guerrero, The Bellas and Natalya get their time with Betty White get their time until the Road Dogg & Billy Gunn take her away.

Fandango is in the ring with Summer Rae to start us off. He’s taking on Santino Marella with Emma. It seems like a good way to introduce her character which seemed weird to start with. Keeps Santino fresh with someone new to play off. The Miz complains on the head sets again. He’s like Bad News Barrett except slightly different. The circus surrounding the match made me forget one was going on. Fandango with the top rope leg drop for the win. Byron Saxton is back? Why? More faces for the WWE Network? Sheamus points out the obvious that he can still main event Wrestlemania if he wins the Elimination Chamber. Fair enough promo.

Christian is Sheamus’s partner against the Real Americans. They snuck back into the WWE. Antonio Cesaro finally gets some mic time. He’s going to be the WWE Champion. Not much of a promo. Zeb Colter makes Jack Swagger wait on the apron to start the match. Swagger gets an early tag anyway. Christian gets in enough offense to get Sheamus in. I dig the fighting between Cesaro & Sheamus. Cesaro tosses Sheamus outside. Swagger drags down Sheamus. Cesaro takes advantage. We get a break. They’re still going at it. Christian gets the hot tag. Cesaro ends the streak with a super upper cut. Swagger gator rolls him. Swagger bomb followed by the double stomp. Big Swing tosses Christian outside the ring. Christian barely beats the count. Quick pin doesn’t work. Sheamus gets the real hot tag. Swagger is on the end of the ass kicking. No surprise given the present story line. Cesaro makes the save for Swagger. Jack turns the distraction into a Patriot Lock. Christian makes the save. Brogue Kick. Sheamus brings Christian back in to celebrate. John Cena gets Renee Young’s second interview. He’s going to beat Randy Orton in the middle of the ring. Everyone needs to go through him to get to the WWE Championship.

My Avery Brewing Company Karma is quite cold. And tasty. #SippyTimeBeer. I buzz through the Batista bomb Youtube clips and the entrances of both Dolph Ziggler and Alberto Del Rio. Ziggler gets to show off early in the match. Fame Asser only gets a two count. Thrust kick to the head ends the match in short order. Wow Dolph, you are out. Cross arm breaker on Ziggler after the match brings out Batista in ring gear. Spear. The Animal tosses Del Rio into the barricade. Batista Bomb thru the announce table.

HHH runs into Batista. HHH wants Batista to keep it in the ring. HHH gives him a match against Del Rio at Elimination Chamber. The third Hall of Fame entrant is Lita. Cool. The New Age Outlaws are still hanging out with Betty White. They’re having tea. She does the cup switch-a-roo. I’m in stitches. (Sarcasm alert.)

The New Age Outlaws are now at ring side. The Usos come out. They are taking on Curtis Axel & Ryback. The Usos are on the attack early. Billy Gunn still gets to play dumb. Woof. The Goldberg chant makes no sense at this point. I’ve been paying more attention to the ramblings of Road Dogg. Jimmy flies over the top ropes and takes out Ryback so that Jey can splash Curtis Axel for the win. Slick finish. Gunn pretends he has to poop. Oh, she put something in it. Even funnier. (You get it by now, right?)

Dean Ambrose is in the ring when Mark Henry answers his challenge. Rollins & Reigns get out of the ring for formal introductions. Ambrose acts defiant. He has to deal with Henry’s power to start. He tries to take advantage of the elbow injury but it doesn’t work. Ambrose got tossed into a ring post. Ambrose takes off his brace. Henry tosses Ambrose outside with his good arm. Break. Ambrose is still working over Henry’s elbow. Ambrose goes for his finisher. Henry pushes him off and gives him a World’s Strongest Slam on the rebound. Seth Rollins interferes to get a DQ. Reigns spears Henry to put him out of the picture. The Wyatts are here. The Shield comes back over the barrier. The Wyatts come closer. The Shield step up to the apron. The Wyatts reply. Then they back out like the heels should do. Bray is saying “Make your move” as he holds his arms out.

My ring time will be "Girl Bye" when Naomi gets back. From zimbio.com

My ring time will be “Girl Bye” when Naomi gets back. From zimbio.com

Bobo Brazil gets the tribute for Black History Month. Ernie Ladd inducted into the WWF Hall of Fame. Brie & Nikki Bella are teaming with Cameron. Nikki starts against AJ Lee. Mitchell Cool acknowledges Naomi’s eye socket injury. I remember the initial reports but never remembered seeing a recovery time frame. Middle rope drop kick gets two for Brie. Aksana is kneeing Brie’s back. She didn’t mess up her spine. Alicia Fox gets her time in the ring. Mitchell Cool says “She’s improved, hasn’t she?” as Cameron botches a move. JBL seconds the point. Woof. DDT on Aksana for the Cameron win. Wow. She’s a complete train wreck that deserves to be a reality show like Total Divas. She’s awful in the ring.

Alexander Rusev is impressive. At least they’ve thrown things off by making him from Bulgaria instead of Russia. Kane comes down to the ring. Kane starts to apologize when Daniel Bryan hits the ring. Bryan drop kicks him over the barrier.

They get Betty White on TV one last time to say she was on. John Cena takes on Randy Orton start with 25 minutes left on my DVR. They start off slow, tipping off to me that they’ll use most of that time. Cena starts a slugging come back shortly after the break. He misses a flying shoulder tackle. Orton lets Cena get back up to the apron. Suplex on the way into the ring. Vicious looking DDT by Orton only gets a  two count. Garvin Stomp. Cena makes the full come back. Five Knuckle Shuffle. Orton back breaker out of the AA. Cena back drops Orton out of the ring. Orton power slam but Orton show boats long enough to cost himself. Tower DDT from the top rope. Orton yells at the crowd. Cena turns an RKO into an STF.  Orton gets to the ropes. Orton backs up to go for the punt. Cena  goes for the AA. RKO by Orton. Cena kicks out. AA but Orton kicks out. I’m thinking this is better than their match at the Rumble. Orton fights out of a Top Rope AA. Cena leg drop to the back of the head. Another AA for the win. Fun stuff. Nothing after it either. Cool. – Kevin

#SippyTimeBeer Review – Barley’s, @DundeeBeer and @RivertownBrew

Rivertown Roebling PorterRivertown Brewing CompanyRoebling Porter – This beer helped me drown my sorrows when Kevin Smith missed his flight from LA to my fine city of Columbus. We still had Jason Mewes and “Comic Book Men” co-host Ming Chen for the “Jay & Silent Bob’s Super Groovy Cartoon Movie!” which if you can read the ticket was back on June 7th. Cleaning out the summer beer catalog pushed this one back even further than it should have. To the beer, it was mighty fine. Like most porters, it has a combination of vanilla, coffee and chocolate in it. As usual, I had a hard time detecting the chocolate. The vanilla was more in the background than some of the porters like the one from Atwater but it was still there. Unlike Atwater, it was pretty thick. I’d call it as close to a stout as you can get. This company is out of Cincinnati so if you live in Ohio, Kentucky or Indiana, you’re in luck if you follow this link.

Barley’s Brewing CompanyBeyond Darkness Stout – I know this beer comes from Barley’s Smokehouse & Brewpub but they aren’t claiming that it’s theirs. They also don’t have it on the menu for Studio 35 where we saw the event. That’s a little strange since I liked this one even more than the porter above. It had that thickness, the “I just finished a milkshake thickness to it” which is always fantastic. Unlike other stouts recently that I’ve had like New Holland Dragon’s Milk or Left Hand Brewing’s Nitro Milk Stout, there’s no sweetener in this stout. Straight up Guinness like blackness which is another kind of fantastic from those other two excellent stouts.

#SippyTimeBeer Review – #Cbus Microbrew Festival

Cbus Microbrew Festival '13

I got to taste a lot of local beer when I went down to the Columbus Microbrew Festival. I had a chance to taste some of my favorites but as usual, I decided to try beers that I didn’t have. Zauber Brewing is still working on a larger facility. Four Strings had a couple of offerings there and I passed on them along with Barley’s, Barley’s Smokehouse & Pub, Columbus, Elevator, Gordon Biersch, Great Lakes, Ohio & Thirsty Dog because I have had and reviewed a number of all of their products. I’ll list in alphabetical order what I did have since I’m not completely sure of the order I drank them in. They were supposed to serve 4 ounce portions but almost everyone was very generous with their pours so I got a good idea of how they all taste.

Buckeye Lake BreweryOctoberfest – It’s that time of year, Oktoberfest & Pumpkin beers are everywhere. I’ll get around to a whole column on pumpkin beers later. This brewery just east of Columbus in, you guessed it, Buckeye Lake has gotten good reviews from my friends in the area. It was finally time to try some for myself though. I’m not sure if it was fair to try a seasonal beer though. If it is indeed seasonal since they don’t even have a beer list on their website. The beer had the red hue that most “Marzen” (March in German because of when they brewed them) beers have. This one has a nice balance of hops and malt to make it taste really good. Thumbs up for my first taste of Buckeye Lake.

Great Black Swamp BrewingWetlands Wheat – This company is based in Toledo, OH so it’s not the most local beer there but it was a new one to me. No one wants to go to Toledo so I’m glad they came to us. I love wheat beers so it was an easy first choice from the company and it delivered. Nice and crisp on a night that was reminiscent of Fall than the Summer.

Great Black Swamp BrewingBull Frog Stout – Because there weren’t any cider beers on tap, my girl friend ended up giving me her tickets. Since they had a hard closing time of 10 PM on Friday, we had to venture back Saturday afternoon to finish using the tickets. You don’t need to twist my arm. Since I had a second crack at this brewery, I went with their Bull Frog Stout which was quite good. Double thumbs up from this company.

Homestead Beer CompanyPine Table Pale Ale – This beer is from Licking County which, like Buckeye Lake, is just east of Cbus. Unfortunately, my memory of this beer is hazy at best. I didn’t take notes and I didn’t Instagram each beer, just their label. No, it wasn’t from drinking too much, this time. It just means I’ll have to try it again.

Homestead Beer CompanyBoat India Pale Ale – On Saturday, I couldn’t remember how many choices Homestead had. When I got to their station, I was talked into trying this beer. “It’s the right balance of hops & malt” said the worker who must have been part of the brewery because he was dead on.I could get into more IPAs if they were like this one.

Hoof Hearted BrewingVoltan – Russian Imperial Stout – Aside from the over played but somewhat amusing name, they do have a goofy centaur as a mascot so these guys know how to market. Of course, it helps when you have a fantastic beer. One of the best beers of the weekend.

Jackie O’s BreweryMatriarch Tri-Pa – I have reviewed two of their beers with another one on my “To Get To” list. I hadn’t seen their Tri-Pa probably because it contains six different kinds of hops and a total of five pounds of it per barrel. It’s no wonder this beer cost me not the normal one ticket for four ounces but three tickets. Another reason the cost was so high was because of it’s 11% alcohol content. If you want to get drunk in style and quickly, have this beer if you can get a hold of it.

Lagerheads BreweryWhite Water Witte – When we arrived Saturday, I grabbed this beer first because the vendors let us in without getting our 21 and over wrist bands. No one cared that we didn’t have them on. Yep, starting to get old. Any way, since it was good and sunny, mid 0s I went with a Belgian wheat beer. Perfect plan to soak up some of the last rays of summer. Come Fall and Winter, that whole sun thing is going to be scarce around these parts. Glad I could enjoy a smooth crisp and citrusy beer. They are located up in the Abbeyville OH which is just south of Cleveland.

The Guardian Did Age Progression on Dixie Carter

The Guardian Did Age Progression on Dixie Carter

Jeremy & Kevin are back in your ear holes. They start off by talking about Kevin’s awful trip into Pennsylvania this past weekend. If watching your team lose is bad, what makes it even worse? Kevin got two experience two different types of insult to injury during the Kent State and Pittsburgh Pirates game. They move on to talk about wrestling, specifically Raw. Did any of the story lines move along? Did that make the show bad? How bitter is Jeremy about the Chicago Blackhawks beating the Detroit Red Wings? Did this taint his evaluation of CM Punk’s promo? They weren’t surprised by the eliminations on during the 11 on 3 for the baby faces but they did break down the eliminations of the Shield members. Should the announcers had made a bigger deal out of Roman Reigns being pinned? Why was Seth Rollins the last one in the ring? Jeremy & Kevin move along to Jerry Jarrett’s take on Dixie Carter. Was he correct in his criticisms? Do you need to eat, sleep and breath wrestling to be successful? Did it help Jarrett succeed? Does he have anything in common with Carter? They segue into Dixie and her stellar acting going against AJ Styles. What built in storyline did TNA skip over to produce another heel authority figure? Should they have put over Magnus instead of Styles to avoid this angle? Is the Bound For Glory Series where TNA home grown stars go to die? Does it help Bobby Roode to be back in a team? Does anyone remember James Storm? Is TNA even wasting WWE talents like Jeff Hardy? We know some of these questions are easy to answer but we give them the analysis that you crave. Grab a #SippyTimeBeer, slap on the head phones and enjoy this romp through sports and wrestling.

Hey Grandkids, long time no Audio Updates. Or should we just calling them podcasts like all the cool kids? Whatever the case, Jeremy & Kevin are here to cover everyone’s asses, which is a whole lot of ass out of this group. What awful shift has Dusty gotten himself stuck on? Is anything new with Eric? Jeremy went to Charleston then moved to Charlotte. Kevin went to the Caribbean but is pretty sure that was covered in this #SippyTimeBeer article. What common fowl did the guys both have recently that impressed them enough to babble about it? They followed up by talking about Kevin’s view at the US vs Mexico soccer match. Does Ines Sainz look like she was worth the harassment she got from the New York Jets? Jeremy & Kevin get around to talking about the newly jobless Jim Ross. Was he fired or did he retire as the WWE suggested? If Dave Meltzer is correct and Ross got fired for not handling Ric Flair, what else do you think Ross could have done? Is Kevin really going to miss Ross? When is the last time Good Ole’ JR called a match?  Jeremy smoothly segues into talking about the big story line in the WWE right now, Daniel Bryan vs HHH & the McMahons. If Bryan can go back to wrestling in armories, why can’t Big Show or Dolph Ziggler? Would the WWE ever even hint at those morons in TNA for a fired wrestler? The guys bat around what level of outrage they have for the angle. Is Jeremy finally too old to get riled up? Can Kevin talk his way into his complicated point of view? You better believe it. Why the hell else do a podcast? Click on the link below for some long awaited audio goodness.
