Stunt Granny Audio Presents: We Watch Stuff Podcast #2

We Watch Stuff is back again this week and the boys talk about the big events of Game of Thrones. The show doesn’t start that way but how can Game of Thrones not be talked about in depth? Shahid and Jeremy begin the show talking about the change the television climate. HBO and more specifically The Sopranos, gets a lot of credit for this but what show really started the ore adult themed trend but gets no credit? Why does FX never in the conversation of television changing programing? Which one of our co-hosts has only seen two episodes of The Sopranos? Who has never seen a single episode of Breaking Bad? Which FX show is never brought up amongst the greatest dramas of all time? Why not anyway? Then there is the Game of Thrones conversation not to be missed. It comes from the perspective of two non-book readers because reading is for 1920’s  fancy lads. SO tune in to hear the raw emotions of the final twenty minutes of television that had everyone talking. Oh yeah, they even manage to talk about Maleficent and Snow White and The Huntsman. Yeah, two dud movies, or were they? Listen and find out to see what happened after the recording and how Jeremy may break his laptop in half. .Give this a listen to figure out what that all means.

Stunt Granny Audio Presents: We Watch Stuff Podcast

Yes you see that correctly as it is the dawn of a new era on Stunt Granny. Please welcome our newest Podcast: We Watch Stuff. After two successful runs on the unnamed show we decided to make this a permanent fixture so if you like TV, movies, comics or books then this is the place for you. Ok, not books because really, who the hell reads anymore? This week’s show consists primarily of the X-Men movie franchise. After X-Men: Days of Future Past is the future of Fox’s X-Men franchise secure or was this on par with X-Men: The Last Stand? Why is it that Shahid goes off on the typical comic fan? Would a spin-off movie off all of the X-Men a**hole characters work? What is the biggest missed opportunity in the new Amazing Spiderman franchise? (Yeah that slipped in the convo.) Was the lack of explanation on major plot threads a detriment to Days of Future Past? Why are comic fans such a whiny bunch? Is it even possible to make a movie they will enjoy? Well, all the answers rest in the link below so go ahead and click away already.

Here Comes the Puke!

Kevin and Eric are in the saddle this week, and the horse ain’t buckin’ us off! We hit on a Chris Jericho interview where he says CM Punk’s time has come and that Ryback is the next big star in the making, if WWE would just push him over the cliff at Sunday’s Hell in a Cell. Do we agree? Is Ryback the Ryte guy? We also discuss CM Punk writing the introduction to Avengers vs. X-Men, and Kevin helps Eric understand why that’s a big deal. (Eric only played with He-Man figures and ate glue as a kid.) Then, in the strangest and best transition and topic in Eric’s foggy, post-honeymoon memory, the boys play WWE Mad Libs. What’s Eric’s wrestling name? Even better, what’s his gimmick? And what does he dream about when he imagines being a WWE superstar someday? Listen to this and more! It’s anything but a lousy idea.

(Side note: Two items that fell off the agenda – the passing of Mike Graham and Jeff Blatnick, and the 6-minute feud between the Miz and Kofi Kingston. Feel free to comment on these topics below!)

Oops, I think it's upside down...

Holy cow, it’s Dusty and Eric with another Stunt Granny Audio! The boys start off with a random assortment of brilliance, including thoughts on the Warlord, Haystacks Calhoun, Bob Geigel and more. Why are these multi-generational wrestlers on the docket? Also, what did the gents think of certain aspects of TNA Lockdown? How about this week’s WWE Monday Night Raw? Or the current storylines of two shining stars, Mark Henry and Chris Jericho? Also, the former Claudio Castagnoli, now Antonio Cesaro (with a side salad and breadsticks), made his Smackdown debut oops spoilers with William Regal at his side; what wonderful idea could this lead to (but won’t)? All this and more is a click away!

The gang is working harder than usual this week as they return with another Audio Show for your ear buds. Jeremy and Kevin return this time around and give their thoughts on the Royal Rumble match. They have a different take on things but not as much. They also go in to Monday Night Raw. Was this the best episode of Raw in over a year? Was there any other finish for Daniel Bryan and CM Punk? Was it the right time for Chris Jericho to interfere? How bad was Undertakers wig? Did Triple H accept the challenge or was he blowing off The Undertaker. Of course there is more so just listen already.

Oh yes boys and girls its time to get that booty shaking and listen to another edition of The Stunt Granny Audio Show.  Jeremy and Kevin are on the controls this week and they get a chance to talk some wrestling. The boys discuss last week’s episode of PWO Wrestling. What worked, what didn’t and what was really annoying? How cute is Veda Scott? No really, she is adorable. Oh yeah, the guys discuss her promo so this isn’t totally out of the blue. Honest. No really. (Veda, Kevin is single…wink, wink, call him no seriously direct message me @difrango11.) Um, anyway, they also dip their toes in the WWE pool and they discuss the imminent John Cena Heel Hilarity ™. They explain this one so don’t worry about it being a ten minute bashfest. So listen up as other things are bound to come up and it will all be worth your while.

Stunt Granny Audio: Royal Rumble Preview with Travis Bryant from East Coast Cast

It’s a very special edition of Stunt Granny Audio, as the Grandkids meet the Constellinos! Travis Bryant from the PWTorch East Coast Cast joins Eric Nelson from Stunt Granny to preview the 2012 WWE Royal Rumble. Travis won last year’s Stunt Granny Royal Rumble-themed game (sign up for the 2012 edition by leaving a comment here), and our lame-ass excuse for a prize was a guest spot on Stunt Granny Audio. Travis is awesome, though, so it’s an entertaining show full of questions like: Why didn’t WWE add a Royal Rumble page to their Web site until this Tuesday? Does John Cena really need a singles match? Does that mean his opponent, Kane, probably won’t be in the Rumble, either, even though the Rumble match itself is desperately short on legitimate title contenders? What St. Louis hometown favorite will probably return just in time to win? And how exactly will CM Punk get screwed in his match against Dolph Ziggler? All that and more!

Have you ever had a threesome? I bet Diddy and Chris Jericho have! And now you can, too: Dusty, Kevin and Eric recap WWE Monday Night Raw with a heavy focus on Chris Jericho. Was his segment great? Was it overbearing? Is Jericho himself overbearing? And whaaaat about that jacket?! Pee-yew! Also find out what the boys thought about John Cena vs. Kane, the miscast CM Punk vs. the miscast Dolph Ziggler, the re-pushed Wade Barrett vs. the god-damn fool Santino Marella, and more! Except the divas! Click! Listen!

brodus clay missing

Is this Tweeted picture enough to keep Brodus Clay off TV? Good job, King Hippo.

Eric and Kevin join forces this week to discuss the abysmal Slammy Awards episode of WWE Monday Night Raw this week but attempt to hit some of the high notes: the Trending Star match featuring Dolph Ziggler vs. Zack Ryder vs. Daniel Bryan vs. Cody Rhodes; the always-good Mark Henry vs. John Cena; and the return of Kane. What does Kane’s return do to Cena’s character twist? Kane’s return did take him out of the running for who’s behind the “Second Day of 2012” videos, so who’s it gonna be? All of this, plus discussion about Bully Ray and SoCal Val, Jay Lethal and HOGWrestling (not what you think), and the Wrestling Retribution Project (“Tragedy is comedy,” my foot), so listen up!
